Ingredients
- 8 oz Elbow Macaroni
- 8 oz Breakfast sausage, uncooked
- 3 Tbsp All purpose flour
- 12 oz Beer, your favorite brand
- 12 oz Queso Mama, any variety
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Cheddar, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Cook elbow macaroni as directed and set aside.
- In a saucepan on medium heat, cook sausage until browned.
- Add flour and stir. Cook for two minutes.
- Pour in the beer and cook an additional 2 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
- Once thickened, stir in Queso Mama and cook another 2-3 minutes or until bubbling.
- At this point, you can use this as a dip on it own if you wanted, but since you already cooked pasta, pour the macaroni into the sauce.
- Stir to combine and pour into a 9x9 square baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly and bake for 15-20 minutes at 375F.
